Wonders & Worries 101

 

Topic: Strengthening Relationships in the midst of Illness

 

An opportunity for families who are WONDERING about Wonders & Worries to come to our office, meet the Wonders & Worries team and learn more. Wonders & Worries 101 will be a great opportunity for the entire family to meet other families in similar circumstances and gain support.

 

When: Monday, January 20th

In the Continental Building

Who: For Any and All Family Members – after dinner we will divide into separate parent, child, and teen groups for fun and support! (Free child care will be available for younger children).

What: The parent group will focus on how to strengthen the parent-child relationship in the midst of illness. Children and teenagers will participate in games and activities focusing on family relationships and strengths.

Wonders & Worries helps children cope when a parent faces a serious or life threatening illness. All services are offered free of charge to anyone and available in English and Spanish. Wonders & Worries is the only program anywhere offering children who have a parent with a serious illness free, professional support in individual and group settings.
