Dear Meredith and Melissa:

Thank you so much for giving "L" the opportunity to participate in your Wonders & Worries workshop. Your program is so very important to "L" and all children effected by cancer. I know that he has gained perspective and strength from this opportunity.

To me, the biggest indicator of your workshop's success was in "L" eager anticipation upon going, as well as his enthusiasm and tone when I picked him up. His attitude told me this was a purely positive experience.

Although I have tried to help him understand all the aspects of my cancer journey, I think being able to share his feelings in a safe place has helped "L" deal with some of his emotions. The knowledge he gained has helped him be less fearful; and the comradery with the other kids has helped him feel less isolated.

You really have done a great job in helping him cope with cancer. "L" takes with him a bit of healing from this time with you. Please know that your efforts are appreciated and you have make a difference in the life of one very special little boy.
