Since 2001, Wonders & Worries has worked with more than 4,000 children and adults. We receive no state, federal, or government funding or subsidies. All of our services are offered free of charge, and our funding is provided only through charitable gifts from individuals, corporations and foundations.
More than 900 Central Texas parents with children under the age of 18 will receive a cancer diagnosis this year – and still more will be affected by illnesses like Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, and others. The families we serve share a desire to maintain family unity through one of the most frightening events families can experience. There are simply no other organizations that offer the comprehensive and professional services to help children cope with a parent’s illness. As a young and rapidly growing organization, Wonders & Worries needs your help to continue providing these valuable services.
There are many opportunities to support our work, including gifts of cash or securities, contributing an in-kind gift, supporting one of our special events, hosting your own event to benefit us, shopping local retailers that support us, volunteering, or naming Wonders & Worries in your will or estate plans. The ways you can support Wonders & Worries are only limited by your own creativity.
Thank you for considering a gift to Wonders & Worries!
