Current opportunities for volunteering at Wonders & Worries include:

• Office help – this is a flexible position, and days and times vary from 8am-5pm. Volunteers interested in office administrative help must commit to at least 10 hours per month, at least six months.

• Practicum student – for summer 2012. We offer practicum opportunities for students pursuing a career in child life. The Wonders & Worries child life practicum requires a commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week for approximately 10 weeks. Our practicum opportunities coincide with university and college schedules, and are offered each semester.

  Practicum responsibilities and opportunities include co-facilitating support groups, shadowing child life staff, providing child care during parenting classes, managing supplies, helping plan and facilitate family fun events and involvement with a variety of other office projects and tasks.

• iQue Maravilla! Committee and “Day-of” Volunteers – this year’s annual dinner and auction in April 2013 at the Austin Music Hall.  Committee work begins in January to plan this special event, and volunteers are needed for set-up and activities for the “day-of” the event.
